The Central Connecticut Celtic Cultural Committee Celtic Scholars Program 2027
The Central Connecticut Celtic Cultural Committee (C.C.C.C.C.) exists to foster, promote, and celebrate the cultural and historical contributions of Irish and Irish American individuals and groups in Central Connecticut. In addition to sponsoring the Greater Hartford St. Patrick’s Day Parade, the C.C.C.C.C. also sponsors the Celtic Scholars Program. This Scholarship Program recognizes the personal and educational achievements of young Irish and Irish American persons, as well as their contributions to their community and their interest in promoting the culture of their heritage.
Two (2) individuals will be identified as Celtic Scholars, and each will receive a $2,500.00 cash scholarship, as well as an Aran sweater. Application eligibility requirements:
- Connecticut resident
- 17-22 years of age
- Of Irish descent
- High school senior or full-time college undergraduate
The completed application, inclusive of Slide Presentation (see attached), current resume, and signed application page, must be emailed by 11:59 PM (January 2, 2027).
